My company bought BV Commance last Friday, Feb 2. Today is Tuesday, Feb 6. When I use Site Manager to create a new site, it complains that it can't find a license file. It is looking for a file with the *.lic extension. No such file came with BV Commerce. There is a file called licenses.licx, so I point Site Manager to that file, and it says the file is invalid. So I do a manual install, get everything up and working. I try to log in as the admin user. I am asked for a license file. I point it to the licenses.licx file. I get the message "License has expired. Contact www.bvsoftware.com for assistance." All the information that is displayed from the license says "Invalid Data" in it. So how do I get a license file? My license can't have expired in less that a week, can it?

It's apparently a security thing. You'll need to log into your BV Software account and download the new license. |
