I am currently testing a site on godaddy. I put the site in a subfolder of my godaddy account and made that folder a virtual directory. I also created an alias that points to that virtual directory. For example, my main website is:

www.mainwebsite.com

and bvc5 store is here:

www.mainwebsite.com/bvc5store

Now my alias points to the sub directory so I can type this and go directly to my store:

www.storename.com.

The problem arises when I go to any other page on the bvc5 store. It starts putting the virtual directory folder name in the URL like:

www.storename.com/bvc5store/Default.aspx.

I can't have this. I don't think it looks good for search engines because the store is nested in another subdirectory. I also just think it looks bad. My question is: Is this normal behavior for bvc5 or is godaddy causing the problem. Has anybody been able to successfully pull off what I am trying to do in godaddy or in any other hosting environment. We are getting our own servers soon that we will have complete control over but in the meantime, Im stuck with godaddy. If it's just a problem with godaddy, then I can live with it. If its a general problem with bvc5 then I'm stuck.
