It's impossible to look like you're head's on straight when your product page shows:

small = $10.00,

med = $15.00,

large = $20.00 via modifiers

AND show the volume discount as:

2 for 8.00,

4 for 7.00,

8 for 6.00.

The discounts work in the cart and at checkout - the $2.00 comes off if you buy two of any size, but it doesn't look right until you go to the cart page.

Is there any way to make volume discounts look the way we speak... "Buy 2 for a XX% discount, no matter which size you need"? OR "Buy 2 for a $X.00 discount, no matter which size you need"?

The fixed amount is poorly planned, likely existing before modifiers were added to the package, right?

Any way to get this looking right?

Yeah this is the same problem we talked about before on the other post. . .

Volume Discounts are useless when you use them on a product with Customer Choices (with different prices), OotB.

Have you considered using a Product Offer (coupon thing), without the code for this product? You could then add in your discounts in the description section of the product and make it say anything you want for discounts.

I'm not exactly sure what your volume discounts look like, but if you want to do 2 dollars off for the product if they buy 2 it can easily be done with some Offers.

I tested this with buy 2 and get 2 dollars off, buy 4 and get 4 dollars off, or buy 6 and get 6 dollars off, and made all three discounts Not stack with other offers. It seems to work well in figuring out the actually prices. Now just add in a nice Volume Discount table in your description and you should have what you want.

I know its not the best solution, but could possibly be a decent work around.
