When a service pack is released is it designed to be used on a particular service pack release?
For example, can I use the latest service pack to upgrade a SP1 store to SP 3.2?

Yes, the 5.3.2 service pack will upgrade from SP1 to the latest version with one program. No need to download individual service packs.
