Hi - We have a test cart setup and are playing around with Product Variations. I have an item where I've added a variation using the Image Radio Button List. The variation consists of 3 tin lid colors: gold, platinum and green. I would expect to be able to click on the Edit Product Variations link for this item and be able to further edit my customer options. However, when I click on the link, the next screen has a small image of my product, the buttons Cancel and Save Changes, and buttons that say Select All, Deselect All, but there are no tin lids to select or deselect. Why am I unable to Edit my Product Variations?

Thank you

PS - I realized after I posted here, the question should probably be in the How Do I forum. If someone can please move it for me, I'd appreciate it.

There are videos at:

But you'll need to view then with IE6 or 7.

It'll take some chair time to 'get' this... but it all works quite well. BTW, there is a way to add text to the image. Hollar back if you'd like to do this as I do:

Thanks for the link, Mitch. Nice site!

I did review the Customer Choices video prior to my setup, but I still cannot figure out why I can't edit my Product Variations (or Edit Customer Choices as shown in the video). Any ideas on what what might be happening?

Are you setting up product choices or product modifiers?

Product Modifiers do not allow for this but product choices do. It's a difference of how they're setup in the db. Product Choices actually reference a "sub-product" that can contain all of its own data, image, pricing, etc.

I thought I selected Choices, but it's entirely possible I didn't. At any rate, I picked another item to do Choices on, and it is working as it's supposed to. Thank you for the replies Mitch and Blue Acorn!
