Hi,
We are currently building a BV5 store and ran into a issue we don't know how to resolve. We are selling knitting needles and have created a "shared needle size" product variation. After adding the shared product choice to a product we go to "product variations" menu and un-check the ones do not apply to a particular product. When visiting the product page in the store the product choice drop down box still shows the choices that are unavailable for that product and when you select it nothing happens. This should not happen. It should not show choices that are not available for that particular product.
It would be crazy to have to create a new product choice for every single product. How do you suggest resolving this problem?

I too have this issue, but with normal product variations. If I deselect a variant, it still shows up in the store just as 'not currently available.' I'd much rather it just hide it from the store similarly to how you can deactivate products...

Not much help, but.... It's been discussed at length here a while back, I can't find the thread(s).
It isn't possible to 'grey-out' or remove choices that can't be chosen at the time a shopper is making selections ootb. |
