New server setup running Windows 2003 Web Edition; All SQL components are installed on web server. Installed BV5 Site Manager.
When we try to create a new test store for testing everything out, the START button on the Site Manager does nothing.
SQL Server is SQL 2005 running on its own dedicated box (Server 2003 standard). Connectivity to SQL server is fine (Can setup a DSN on web server to SQL server with no problems)
Any thoughts? |

quick update...we've narrowed it down to SQL user id's. Integrated ID's work fine. SQL id's do not.
Continuing to research. |

Randy, it should work fine with SQL ID's. That is how we deploy new stores and have done it on dozens of servers for hundreds of stores.
If you have a minute, give me a call and we can go through your setup and figure it out. |
