How do I add Manufacturers SKU to an item?

For some reason I cannot find out how to add the Manufacturer (or Vendors) SKU to an item. I need to do this so that when I send a drop-ship order it uses THEIR SKU, not mine.
Not sure why this is so hard to find, but I am at a loss!
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
