Hoping someone may have seen this issue before and perhaps I am just missing something simple.
I have a BVC5 SP2 site that has been live for about 6 months. It receives a modest amount of traffic, according to Google 700 vists a day or so. There have been about 700 orders placed however the BVC_Order table has over 400,000 rows in it and is taking up over 1GB of space in the database.
I suspect a monitoring package I have running might be helping to compound this issue as it appears the row count increments every 10 seconds when the monitor hits the site. I have the "Cart Cleanup" process set to run every 24 hours and delete orders older than 7 days but apparently that isn't working or I have another issue.
Anyone run into this issue before?

Do the number of rows decrease after the cart cleanup runs?
How many rows have a value of "isplaced = 0" ? |

No, the number never decreases.
I have 444739 rows now, 443993 with isplaced = 0
