Protx 3D Secure Credit Card authentication

Hi,
Does anyone have BV Commerce 5 working properly with Protx? I have successfully setup the payment gateway but if a card issuing bank requires that the card holder goes through the 3D secure process Protx returns the following error - '3D-Authentication required. Cannot authorise this card.' I need some way displaying the 3D secure form to allow the card holder to complete the process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Ben, have you figured out the 3D secure part? Thanks.

At the moment, you can disable the 3D secure at the PROTX end. Unless fraud is a huge problem this is what you'll want to do until it gets absolutely forced on your because 3D secure is a hideous, ill conceived system that causes huge abandonment rates. PROTX have been saying that it will be a requirement for 2 years and thankfully, so far, it's not been enforced. I know that when it is there will be a reaosnable demand from UK BV users for a new gateway that integrates with the protx 3D secure system (myself included). Get the work done now but avoid implementation for as long as possible. To be clear, the PROTX gateway that comes with BV does not support the 3D secure procedure calls. |
