Hi all,
We've setup a BV 5 store on new hosting but want to import all of our data from our old site which was on a different server and was running BV 4. I'm having some problems finding documentation on how to get all our BV 4 store data in our new store. Same with the theme from our old store.
Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

BVC2004 themes are incompatible with BVC5. You will need to re-create it. There is a BVC2004 to BVC5 migration tool in the " BV Commerce 5 Tools and Downloads" forum. |

Andy,
We're using a 3rd party hosting company for our new store. The original store is no longer available - we just have the SQL tables from the previous store. This utility looks like it needs to have access to both stores?
Apologies for my ignorance, I don't work in ASP / .NET and this store is proving a little problematic.

If you have your old 2004 DB, wire it up to an empty BVC2004 store at the new host and run the migration. |
