Should the cart be caching items that were added in a previous browser session?



I'll add an item to the cart and then close the browser. When I reopen the browser and add another item, the item that I'd added previously still shows up in the cart. This is all without being logged in as any sort of user.



Additionally, if I log in as a user, and add things to my cart. Then log off and look at the cart, the items added while logged on are still in the logged off cart.



Is this normal or have I messed something up? I don't know what I could have done that would have caused this.
