Since the 2004 area seems to be read only, I will post here.

In the admin section is the Daily Sales Report (admin\reports_sales_day.aspx). It lists a grand total. I need to know how to calculate that value based on a SQL statement that goes against the standard BV 2004 database. I will be executing the SQL from another application so that I can provide this number in an aggregated report that covers other areas of the business. I am fine with getting multiple subtotals and summing them up in code, but I need to know how to get all of those values for a given date.

Any help here GREATLY appreciated. If this is the wrong area to post this, my apologies!

You're asking a lot. I needed to read your post three times to figure out that you aren't reporting a bug, but asking for custom programming help in a package that isn't current anymore.

Perhaps you can hire someone to do this for you.

And not only asking for support for an outdated product, but in a "user" forum, which is not a dedicated source of support, on top of the fact that it has been announced that the BV staff is out all week.

As Mitch said, when you own a used car, you take it to a custom shop and pay for repairs.

Sorry. I have inherited this and the source code is not available. I assumed this was the developer support resource. And it's not really custom programming that I am looking for. Just an understanding of how to derive that value. I have since figured it out by running a SQL trace when that value is displayed on the page in question.

Thanks for the responses.
