Not sure why but our Gift certificate page is not showing anything but a blank page. We are running BV5 SP3.2. Any ideas on what this problem could be?? The admin settings look normal. http://www.kastwayairsoft.com/GiftCertificate.aspx |

Assuming you have created a gift certificate in your admin section? |

DeanMachine is correct. Even with gift certificates created, active, and working normally, the giftcertificate.aspx page is blank.
My thought is either an unintentional bug, a relic from a BV uncompleted feature, or something that requires additional programing and/or configuration (in which case there is no documentation to support.)

Mine has been working correctly since day one.
When you say "giftcertficate.aspx" -- i'm assuming you set that up in the Gift Certificate product in the custom URL box. |

I'm not sure I follow. We have numerous fixed-value gift certificates each with their own "product page" based on the gift certificate template provided. We have a category to which the gift certificates have been assigned.
With regard to the "giftcertficate.aspx" page, if you look at the site root you will find this page with no content within it. Am I missing how this page fits in to the scheme of things?

Mine was this way as well. You'll need to customize the page a bit (or at least I did) to get your regions to set correctly. Look in the /BVModules/ProductTemplates/ folder and you will see two different templates for GC's (Arbitrary Price & Fixed Price).
Hope that helps,
: Greg

Mark -- I simply created a Gift Certificate and used the custom URL to name it giftcertificate.aspx and it worked fine and then created a category and assigned it. If you have several, you obviously have to have a different custom name for each page, but if you assigned them to a "gift certificate" category, they should display. |
