<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">We are having an issue with PayPal express checkout sales processing through BV and showing as paid but PayPal has no record. The problem is intermittent starting and stopping without any reason that I’ve been able to find. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">I've configured BV with the proper PayPal information and processed transactions through and everything will work for a few days later I get a notification about an order that is marked as paid, but has no PayPal Transaction ID and is not in PayPal.<o:p></o:p>

<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">I found a post that suggested it may be related to a required phone number causing errors, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. We are collecting the Phone Number but not requiring it. Also farther into the post the member stated that with farther testing the required phone number does work.<o:p></o:p>

I get PayPal orders that are marked as "Unpaid" -- there is a notation in the order processing that says PayPal has rejected the customers payment, advise them to use another method -- PayPal has no record, but the order is marked with an order ID number, but it is marked as "Unpaid" -- it's very sporadic.

Ive seen this several times before. For when it has happened to us, it was always caused by the card-issuing bank declining the trasaction (i.e. over limit.) I find it strange that paypal accepts the authorization, but then rejects the charge. . . really a poor system on their part.
