Good evening... Any help would be greatly appreciated.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

We are trying to launch a new BVC5 selling site.

When we installed BVC5 the following structure was setup in IIS
We have a website Container in IIS called Builders-Web. Then in that folder we have 3 folders. One is called BVC5 what has an application gear next to it. Looks like a virtual directory/application folder. Then we have another folder called aspnet_client, this looks like just a regular folder. Then we have another folder call BV Commerce 5. BV Commerce 5 is where the above BVC5 folder points to. There are no files in the root of the website. Original files are in the BV Commerce 5 Folder. The BVC5 is a virtual directory pointing at BV Commerce 5.

IIS
Builders-Web <--- Website
- BVC5 <-- Virtual Directory
- aspnet_client
- BV Commerce 5

We have been developing the website by going to IP address of sever example 10.14.14.02/bvc5

If we type just the IP address of the server it does not launch because their are no files in the root of the website. Everything is in subfolders. No as we move closer to go live date we have been setting up our static IP address and getting our domain name setup. We went to our Domain Name Manager and setup our A record for our domain name to point to the static IP address. The problem we are running into is that our domain name and static IP address are going to the Root Website builders-web. Remember there are no files in the root, there are just folders. How do we get our system setup so our domain name launches the website? We are stumped.

I will include images of our structure. We need some help getting this cleaned up. Ideas would be great. If we have this royally screwed up, maybe it would be best to get someone to the server to help clean up this mess. Let's start with ideas first, then if ideas do not work I will call in the experts. Who are the experts? I am reaching out to the community. Thank you again.

You can see example by going to www.hardwarechimp.com that will not launch site...

However if you go to www.hardwarechimp.com/bvc5 the site will launch without a problem.

Help! Thank you.

If you want the BV store to be your website's homepage, then you need to move BV into the root of the site. There is no need for the sub-folder or virtual directory.
