Automatically display a grid of new products on homepage?

I created a dynamic category for products added within 60 days
I'd like to add a product grid to the homepage that displays or cycles through a selection of the products in that category.
I can create a product grid, but it seems to require me to manually choose the products from that category.
how can I add a grid of products to the homepage that are automatically pulled from the dynamic category I set up for new products?

You will need to build a custom control to do that. Take a look at the Top 10 Products and Top Weekly Sellers controls as guidelines for building a new control. |
