I have a client set up who uses First Data to process their credit card transactions. We are using the LinkPoint API to do so. When testing the site out we appeared to be getting valid responses from First Data and transactions were being processed normally. We put their site up and the first order that come through did not show up in their cart (no record of it at all) but the customer's card was charged at First Data. We had the cart set to throw an error on a bad response from First Data, which is why there is no record of the order in the BV cart. We unchecked that box in the workflow process and are now getting order data, but all orders appear as though they were not paid for. In the payment logs all I see is is "Charge Warning: Transaction Declined" with no additional information.

It appears that the LinkPoint API is connecting to FD and processing cards, but not returning a valid or recongnizable response to the cart. Any ideas what might be happening?

What version of the software are you running? Between version 5.3 and 5.5 we updated the payment processing DLL.
