PayPal/PayFlowPro is giving all developers until September to upgrade any code that uses the PayPal SDK for payment processing. I have a couple of sites that use BV Commerce 5 integrated with PayFlowPro - is the PayPal SDK upgrade going to affect BV sites? Do I need to download a patch or anything?

Yes, the upgrades will affect BV Commerce 5 stores and you will need service pack 6 which we will release before September.

Marcus, will BV sites be affected if the new SDK is installed on the server? We have non-BV sites we need to upgrade that live on the same server, and I want to make sure that installing the new paypal SDK on the server won't break BV sites...

Chad,
The BV Code should be looking in the /bin folder first for DLLs so if you install a new DLL in the GAC it shouldn't affect the BV sites.
