I've asked about a couple of issues here since updating to 5.5 -- I have received no help on the issues -- there is no "ticket system" any longer and the "Report Bug" button under MyAccount/Bugs does not work.


If we have paid for the maintenance plan, how do we get support?

You are right, the Report a Bug button does nothing. How do we report that! I suggest you email Marcus directly to see if you get a response or at least get the button fixed.

1) Can you tell me which browser you're using when trying to report a bug via the "my account" area? I'll check into it.

2) The maintenance plan covers all updates and upgrades to the software so if you think you've got a bug in the software then the update will be covered by the maintenance plan.

3) If you have a support request that isn't a bug in the software (i.e. need help with an installation, data migration, etc.) then for the moment you can use this form to request help:

I'm working on turing the ticket system back on later this summer which should help.

The "report a bug" link in the "my Account" area should be working now.

Marcus -- in my case I don't need "consulting" as I don't feel it's something I should "pay for" and I'm not sure it is a bug, I'm just trying to find out if my installation is working correctly -- where does that fall?

For example -- should not Kits reduce the inventory of the components in the kit when the kit is ordered? On my site it does not, and that was my whole purpose for wanting kits.

Joe,

Yes, inventory should be reduced for kit components if the kit components are inventory tracking items. This could either be a bug in the software or it could be a configuration issue on your store. Put a bug report in with the details of your setup and I'll help you resolve the problem.
