making a category page your home page

How would I go about making a category page (/departments/concerts.aspx) my home page. I have tried to change it in the admin>general options to use this instead of the /default.aspx, but it didn't seem to work.

You could setup a redirect on the homepage to take the user to that page. What are you trying to accomplish?
