Placement of code for SSL trust logo (again - thank you everyone for your help!)

I am wanting to place my SSL cert's trust logo on my site and the code snippets are supposed to go :
[color=red>Snippet]
<FONT color=red>[/color]
[color=red>Snippet]
<FONT color=red>[/color]
I have tried all kinds of combinations and I though before I had put the first potion in the "header.ascx" of my theme and the second in the "default.master" file of my theme but it's not working.

place the top part (snippet 1) in the master page as well. |
