We've installed a clean uncustomized BV5.6 ecommerce site it's up and running, but I'm getting an error message when I try to access the Payment options page. This is the error message I'm receiving from the store's event log:

Could not load file or assembly 'file:///c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\store\afa89480\37eb016d\App_Web_payment.aspx.92911a6a.vzsnod1l.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.[ at System.Reflection.Assembly._nLoad(AssemblyName fileName, String codeBase, Evidence assemblySecurity, Assembly locationHint, StackCrawlMark& stackMark, Boolean throwOnFileNotFound, Boolean forIntrospection) at System.Reflection.Assembly.nLoad(AssemblyName fileName, String codeBase, Evidence assemblySecurity, Assembly locationHint, StackCrawlMark& stackMark, Boolean throwOnFileNotFound, Boolean forIntrospection) at System.Reflection.Assembly.InternalLoad(AssemblyName assemblyRef, Evidence assemblySecurity, StackCrawlMark& stackMark, Boolean forIntrospection) at System.Reflection.Assembly.Load(AssemblyName assemblyRef, Evidence assemblySecurity) at System.CodeDom.Compiler.CompilerResults.get_CompiledAssembly() at System.Web.Compilation.BaseTemplateBuildProvider.GetGeneratedType(CompilerResults results) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildProvider.CreateBuildResult(CompilerResults results) at System.Web.Compilation.TemplateControlBuildProvider.CreateBuildResult(CompilerResults results) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildProvider.GetBuildResult(CompilerResults results) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVirtualPathObjectFactory(VirtualPath virtualPath, HttpContext context, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean noAssert) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CreateInstanceFromVirtualPath(VirtualPath virtualPath, Type requiredBaseType, HttpContext context, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean noAssert) at System.Web.UI.PageHandlerFactory.GetHandlerHelper(HttpContext context, String requestType, VirtualPath virtualPath, String physicalPath) at System.Web.UI.PageHandlerFactory.System.Web.IHttpHandlerFactory2.GetHandler(HttpContext context, String requestType, VirtualPath virtualPath, String physicalPath) at System.Web.HttpApplication.MapHttpHandler(HttpContext context, String requestType, VirtualPath path, String pathTranslated, Boolean useAppConfig) ]

We've tried deleting the files in the C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files directory but that did not resolve the problem. Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone provide some advice.

Have you tried restarting the application (either via IIS or by re-uploading the /bin folder)? Are you sure that you've uploaded all of the files to the server?

Thank you for the advice. I did exactly what you instructed, and by overwriting the /bin folder with the original files from the src/www/bin folder it fixed the problem. Thanks again.
