Currently the BV6.5 store is not showing the Payment options during checkout. When I view the Payment options in the Admin Area they're not appearing as well.

Can anyone tell me if this error from the event log is related to the Payment Options issue:

We had the same problem (all shipping settings were missing as well). After restarting IIS the problem was resolved.

As a side note, we had been having this issue with BV2004 regularly, which strongly influenced our decision to upgrade to BV5 (and it is up to date w/ the most recent service pack). After having the new site up and running with BV5 for less than a month we were not very happy to be having the exact same stability issues again! But in BV2004 it was actually less of a problem because there would be an error message on BV Admin dashboard page stating that no payment methods were applied. With the new BV5, you have no idea that the payment settings have all disappeared until you get a customer complaint that there is no place to enter in payment info at checkout or notice that order volume has slowed down.

It sounds like an IIS issue. My guess is that the problem happens when your App Pool recycles. I'd check with your hosting company to see if they have any ideas.
