Im using BV SP3. I went in to report my keyword searches under reports. I am seeing the same numbers from a while ago. It appears that the report has "frooze" because i searched for some of my top keywords and the numbers have yet to change. How do I a) reset the report, b) is the report from all time because there is no date range and c) fix my report so it doesnt freeze after a certain amount fo time?
Please refrain from telling me to upgrade to a new SP lol. My store is highly customize and quite frankly, it just works (well except this report lol). I dont want to upgrade for features i dont need or currently use.

scroll all the way to the bottom. hit the reset button.
I usually copy all to an excel file before hitting reset for late review.
i've tossed out some very useful suggestions regarding this report but don't feel like typing it again. |

I rarely look at this report since Google Analytics provides a much richer report for this data. |

Absolutely! But.... here's how useful this could actually be within the BV Dashboard. IMHO.
Keyword --------- Percentage ------------ Results
Clicking results pops up ordered list of what items are found. SKU and product name.
Allows merchant to see what is being returned without having to type in search terms on site which then skews the report.
Allows merchant to review terms used and populate corresponding products with relevant terms.
No items returned on Keyword A, however 10 items on website apply to Keyword A. Update 10 products with Keyword A and you've just improved your search engine.
is this something that is within analytics? If it is, show me the click path as I've been dying to find it! |

Nope, it doesn't do that. That would be cool, though. Why don't you have a developer build that for you? It shouldn't take long. Honestly, though, I would have a developer build you a better search. BV's out-of-the-box search ain't great. |

I have a laundry list that we're currently working our way down :)
waiting until PCI compliance is all set before we do some serious digging. agree with you on the search, i've entertained adding google search to one site. |

im confused, i thought the keyword search report in the admin is for searches done on the website. I've never seen my google analytics show up with reports of searches customers are performing on my site... or maybe my analytics code wasnt installed on my search page........... {grin}

well i think the report just frooze.. i reseted everything and did a couple searches and there is nothing to report.
