I was wondering if anyone could help with this problem ... we found that since using the BV software users are not automatically being logged out when they close their browser. This obviously is a problem if the computer is a shared computer. Is there a setting we're missing or where in the code can we modify this setting so in fact a session is cleared when the browser is closed. Along the same line can you set a user's session to time out after a certain amount of time? If so where is the code can we do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Try this: i
I the admin, go to the Options tab and click Users in the left menu. Uncheck the "Remember User Passwords" checkbox. You may need to clear your cookies for the new setting to take affect. |

You should be able to do that from the Web.config file. Do a Google search for changing the session timeout. |

You sure you want to set your session to an hour. That can cause some troubles on a moderately active website. |

well... I need something that will keep any admin's (customer service) session and password longer than 10 minutes. If they get a phone call and it takes longer than 10 minutes to enter in an order, all their info is lost because the session timed out. That's not good for the customer nor customer service.
I could just tick the "remember user password", but that creates way more problems.
