Hi,
All of our UK stores use Protx as the payment gateway. Protx has now become Sage Pay and we're being told the Protx protocols will soon be deprecated.
Is there an upgrade for this, all of our stores will die on the 1st of June 2010.
Thanks
Anthony

Hi any news on this, we've just swapped the live URL for Protx to: https://live.sagepay.com.../vspdirect-register.vsp.Order is going through and showing in admin but as pending. Spoken with Sage and they say not receiving any of the info? Anyone else having problems. Thanks Rich |

If you need to update the service url go to BVAdmin->Options->Payment->Credit Card->Edit Protx Gateway In the "Live URL" field enter: https://live.sagepay.com/gateway/service/Click "Save Changes" The Protx processor (SagePay) will now use the new URL instead of the built-in old URL. BV Support

Hi Marcus,
done as you have suggested but still the same. Order goes through with no errors client side but in admin the credit card is still in process not accepted declined or anything. No messages

Can you verify you have the EXACT url as above, including the "/" at the end?
Also, what software version do you have?

Hi Marcus, can confirm url is correct as you have.
Now I get: An error occured while attempting to process your credit card. Please check your payment information and try again. But the credit card information is correct.

All sorted, SagePay when transferring to their new account didn't transfer the ip address. What a bunch of idiots, this was then not giving us any errors as it was coming from an unknown IP Address.
Hope this may help someone else.
