Estimate Shipping Pop-up not working - 5.7.2

We are using BVC 5.7.2 with Structured Solutions Shipping Rate Rule Providers (Wrappers) and are only using FedEx for shipping.
On the checkout page, after you enter your zip, the shipping rates display fine, however if a users clicks on the Estimate Shipping button in the cart and enters a zip in the pop-up window, it returns no rates. Just says "To Be Determined - Contact Seller"
This is a major issue. Any ideas on why this doesn't work and the checkout page does?

UPS and USPS work fine for me in the shipping popup. I use both order rules and/or package rules to wrap the methods using Andy's rule provider. I can't comment on fedex. Best of luck.

It appears after some testing, there is a bug in the Estimate Shipping pop-up.
We have it working with UPS and the Shipper Rules Wrapper, however if you only offer FedEx shipping (which we do), then they will never display in that window.
I believe this is related to someone Marcus told us once in regards to UPS doesn't allow their rates to be displayed next to competitors in the same window, which is why it can't show mix results. However, it should be able to display FedEx rates if we don't have any UPS providers installed.
Can we please get a fix for this as soon as possible. Our client is getting numerous calls for shipping estimates, since nothing shows up.
Thanks

Possible Workaround:
Create your shipping method in fedex, ups, etc. Wrap each method using an order or package rule that is named the same as the original shipping method, and return the rate from that methods carrier into the rule. (So thus you don't diplay fedex, but rather the wrapper named "fedex overnight' or something.) This would result in the wrapped methods being displayed next to eachother, not the actual 'original' shipping methods, thus avoiding the bug you describe. This should work because I do wrapped UPS and USPS methods next to eachother, thus logic would serve that any wrapped methods should be able to be displayed next to eachother.
For those of you not familiar with Structured Solutions Rule Provider, it is very, very complex, but very robust and versatile.

I'll bet FedEx is complaining that they don't have enough information to provide a rate quote. You can confirm that by checking the BV log. If that is the problem, you may need to force the missing field(s) to be visible in the shipping popup. I don't have BV in front of me, so I can't say how to do that. |

Mark, Thanks for the workaround.
However before I tried that, I noticed Andy mentioned to check for errors, and I did find the errors stating that no rate could be returned from the shipping provider to display.
I had another post about the State field missing in the Shipping Estimate window. I modified the EstimateShipping.aspx.vb file to force the state field to display. ( = True, versus Me.RegionIsRequired)
It works fine after that. All FedEx rates display now
Thanks everyone for you help tracking this issue down.
