was the BOGO fixed in either 5.7.1, 2 or 3?

I have setup a BOGO in 5.7.2 but when the primary item is added to the cart the BOGO item is not.

I'm not sure it was designed that the free item is added automatically - I believe the customer has to physically add it to the cart |

Hi Joe,
My understanding, and they way that it had worked in 5.4...was that the BOGO item was automatically added to the order.

I have been using it and it works fine, but you have to physically add both items to a cart |

Thanks Joe, but it is supposed to automatically add the item...or at least it always has in the past :) Otherwise, how is one to know that there is a free item add-on unless you advertise it and they have to manually select and add it :)

Frankly I would rather have it NOT add it automatically - or at least give me the option in creating the Offer -- for if someone doesn't want or need the free item, I don't want to have to send it just because. Also customers will be confused if they don't know it's being added and think you are doing something behind their back by adding something automatically. |
