"Buy One get One" offer is not working in BVC 5.7.2.


I have set the promotional code into BOGO offer in BVAdmin and i have added products into cart, afterthat i have added the promotional code into cart page, that time we are getting the following error :




"Coupon code does not apply to this order."

I am also experiencing this error (version 5.6).

I have tested it a lot today and have found that I am able to add my coupon successfully in two scenarios:

1) When placing an order from the public website.
2) When using the "New Order" screen in BV Admin.

I am unable to add this coupon to an order that has already been placed from the "Edit Order" screen in BV admin.

This marketing offer does not work the way you would expect.

The BOGO coupon can be applied if both products are in the cart. The "discounted" product will be discounted.

It only works if both the conditional product(s) and the discounted product(s) are in the cart together. IT DOES NOT automatically add the discounted item, as you would expect.
