I've just updated a site from bv2004 to 5.7.1 and started playing around with the kitting feature. I find it very useful and intend on using it. I have a couple issue I'd like to see if I can find an answer for or workaround.
1.) once you create a kit with items the item price is locked unless I'm missing something. So if there were to be a price increase on an item you would have to go through any/all kit that may contain that item and delete it and re add it. Is there any way to auto generate kits or pull live prices from item in the kit?
2.)once you have kit set up there is no way to enter a multiple of a selected item. Ex, you have 3 different items to chose from, it would be nice to let a customer to select the item then enter a quantity with out have to enter the same item multiple times with different quantities entered.
Any help would be appreciated.

1) I reported a simular problem to BV but have yet to hear anything back. Once you add a product to the kit, it creates a price in the kit. They are not linked. If you want to update the product price, you have to update the product price and the kit price. Cumbersome if you don't know what products are in what kits...
2) I dont think this is OOTB so it would have to be developed.
