Hi all, my client will be a low traffic BV Commerce e-commerce shopping site to begin with. I wasn't really sure what type of server config I should set up for them in order to provide a generally low response time for my guess would be < 100,000 visitors a month at least for a good chunk of time. I'm going to go with 1and1 cloud or VPS hosting. For the cloud hosting the monthly fees vary significantly depending on CPU, memory and disk configuration.

I was wondering what types of traffic are you getting with some of your BV Commerce websites, and what types of hardware configuration are you running to support that? I can't really think of the scales to measure with...maybe # customers per day, peak # concurrent customers, # hits per day...

Also if you happen to know, how does your average CPU and I/O usage look like, and what usage scenarios are generally causing peaks of those?
