If we want this to just be www.promomanagers.com what do you enter in that box? Right now we have it sending to default.aspx which was a total mistake. Do we leave it blank, do we set it to "/"? We dont' want the footer home link to point to the name/default.aspx, we want it to point straight to name Thanks! PromoManagers Promotional Items for Business

I remember looking at this at one point and my recollection was that there wasn't a simple fix for this. ASP.NET, at least the older versions, do not like extension-less URL's; it wants to see a .aspx for everything. It's not that it's impossible to do this, but it inevitably requires jumping through hoops. |

Before IIS7 you have to configure some setting on IIS6 to allow extension-less URLs. Things get much easier with IIS7 and web routing in .NET 4. BV 6 supports extension-less page names out of the box.
The "Store Home Page File Name" setting exists because some customers had a different homepage for the store when installing into the same folder as their main web site. So default.aspx was for their web site and storedefault.aspx was for BV. We're probably removing this setting from newer versions as it's really a customization for a small number of clients.
