Payment options disappearing from checkout

Has anyone else experienced the payment options (credit card, check, PayPal, etc) disappearing from the checkout page? We've seen this occur with several of our customers in the past. Restarting the site always fixes it. |

Aaron I have never seen this issue. Next time it happens check error logs for 'SyncLock' and or 'Thread' errors. Are these busy sites on a shared server? |

I'm in the middle of log sleuthing right now (fun!). These sites are on virtual servers, so the resources are dedicated. They are relatively busy sites, though. |

Which release of BV5? Older versions called the load processors once per application load and if something screwed up it required a site reboot. I believe later versions always poll for processors to prevent the issue.

I should also state that in this instance, the server was rebooted prior to the issue. I suspect that when the site loaded after the server reboot that the payment methods were not visible in checkout (but I don't know for sure, though there were no orders). Interestingly, I did not see the encryption keys/startup entries in the Audit Log that you normally would see when a site starts up. |

Also, we're running Windows 2008 R2 with the site's app pool running in Classic mode. |
