Grey out the button -or- in the "Item Added to Cart" spot, place a note: "Make all choices" or sim. The note would clear when all choices are made.
This would eliminate the asterisk and "field missing" note that's pretty sloppy looking anyway.
Wouldn't swapping the message next to the Cart button be a fairly simple bit of code? |
