Shipper is my flagship product for automating shipment processing with UPS WorldShip. In as few as 3 steps, you can process
10's or 100's of shipments in just a couple of minutes. Starting with version 1.1, Shipper will support BVC 2004 stores with Shipper Service for BVC 2004.
Shipper and Shipper Service are installed separately. One copy of Shipper is installed on the same computer with UPS WorldShip, typically in your shipping department. Shipper Service is installed on each of your store web sites. Periodically (or when you request it), Shipper will connect to each store via Shipper Service and download all the pending shipment information.
Once the pending shipment are in Shipper you can print packing slips or other reports, and then prepare the shipments for UPS WorldShip. Preparation for UPS WorldShip can be automated or you can prepare individual shipments. Then you use UPS WorldShip to process the shipments. This assigns the shipment a tracking number and prints the label.
After the shipments have been processed, Shipper will send the tracking information back to the stores and mark the shipments complete. The whole process only takes a couple of minutes, even for dozens of shipments.
