Are there any tips for doing a new install?

Also if given the choice do i use the IIS6 or IIS7? I know the instructions for install reference the web config file depending on which one you have. Is there any better performance with one over the other?

Thanks
Dan

You really should be using IIS 7 or 7.5 these days. Here's a link to the original BV Commerce 5 documentation. It is a little outdated, but it should get you where you need to go.

Which type of Database is preferred?

AppliedI says i can choose between MSSQL or MYSQL when setting up my database.

Sorry for the simple questions. I plan on getting this up tonight and just making sure I have things figured out beforehand.

Thanks
Aaron
