BVC2004 => BVC2013 upgrade / migration - how tough ?

Is there an upgrade path from BVC2004 to BVC2013?
How difficult is it? One step - 2 step (like, do we need to do BVC2004 to BVC5.8 then to BVC2013)?
When might it become available?
How much would you change to do it there at BVC?

It's actually not too difficult. I believe Resposio has already done some test upgrades. The upgrade from 2004 is a 2-step process. You need to start with a 5.6 database because that's the newest version that the 2004 migration tool supports. Once the data has been migrated just attach a 2013 website to the database and it will upgrade it from there. Note that you do not need to use the 5.6 website files, just the database. |
