My company would like to use volume discounting but these are done on a percentage basis. I was hoping I can leverage the volume discounts available in the product section to incorporate these however the tables don't seem to line up with the admin. In Admin you only have two fields, Quantity and Price. However in the tables you have Quantity, Type, and Amount. I also see in Core where the type is being used but it is not in the admin functionality.
I am missing something in Admin? Am I going to be able to use percentage based volume discounts?

Presently only amount-based discounts are supported. However, it would not be too difficult to customize BV Commerce to support percentage-based discounts as most of the plumbing already exists to support this. |
