I apologize in advance if this was already discussed on another thread that I wasn't able to locate.
Is there an option to force someone to either log in or create an account during the checkout process (assuming they aren't already logged in)? Loyalty Points and Affiliate Coupon Codes only work with accounts, so we are wanting to no longer allow "anonymous" orders.

You can do this in one of two ways:
One Page Checkout Plus
The One Page Checkout Plus has an option to require account creation. When this is enabled a customer must either be logged in during checkout or they will be required to create an account on the checkout page.
Checkout Selected Workflow
Add the "Require Login Before Checkout" workflow step to the "Checkout Selected" workflow. When an unauthenticated user clicks the Checkout button on the cart they will be redirected to the login/account creation page. |

By the way, I'm not sure what you mean by "Affiliate Coupon Codes". |
