Just moved from BVC5.3.2. I've looked, can't find it, I'd like to turn off breadcrumbs. Some of my products have a stack of 3 shown - really unnecessary. I searched the forum, the latest forum post is mine from 9 years ago!

You cannot disable breadcrumbs with an admin setting, but you can limit how many of them show on the product page by going to Options >> Site Settings >> Display and setting the "Max Category Breadcrumb Trails To Show" setting to "1". To remove the simplest thing is to use CSS; alternately you would need to alter files (which ones depends on your theme/how your site was built) to remove the breadcrumb control(s). Tell me more information about these "flat panel" view appliances. In my day, we didn't.... Seriously, 3.2 remained quite stable once we worked a years' worth of bugs out of it.
