Hello Team, We have issue regarding shipping. As per our client email "shipping stopped working. BV is not passing the originating zip code. This zip code should be pulled from content —> store info which has the store address." and after checking audit logs (options —> audit logs->General) we found that there are errors like For "UPS Shipping Provider": - "Response: Rate Request1.00010FailureHard111107An origin postal code must be specified." - "UPS Status Code = 0 UPS Errors = An origin postal code must be specified." These errors are not occurred always for UPS Shipping Provider.For some UPS Shipping Provider information is displayed. So could you please let us know in which conditions these types of errors can occur? Please find attached screenshots for the reference. Thank You. Hello, We are using BV Commerce 2015 version. Our client send email as follows: "I have requests and responses for project. Can you check why zip code is not getting pulled? Exactly, thats the error. - UPS Status Code = 0 UPS Errors = An origin postal code must be specified. The origin postal code is picked up from "content —> store info" setting. " Please find attached screenshot for the reference. Thank you. This client's development company already has a support ticket open for this issue. This was our last response: Quote:The first time we tested it today it did not work until we clicked around a bit. Every subsequent time we've tested it today it has worked correctly. We've never seen behavior like this which makes me think the issue might be either with bad data or custom code. |

Aaron, the issue is still not resolved. We are still on BV 2015 and we implemented the workaround. Could that be the reason?

Hello Team,
There was issue while configure the UPS shipping settings for project and we were getting the following error message: "Error Calling HTTP POST: Stream Reader Error: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden. SystemThere was an error loading a license agreement."
We have raised "UPS-Shipping Settings Issue" on Forum and as per Forum reply there is issue with BVC version 2015 which is not supported TLS 1.2 protocol. So We have done following steps on server to resolved above issue which is mentioned in "http://www.bvcommerce.com/blog/post/2017/04/06/TLS-12-support-for-pre-BVC-2017" link.
Step 1: Install .NET Framework 4.5.2 Step 2: Enable TLS 1.2 for .NET 4.0 - we have used "Option 1: Registry change (server-wide change)" for enabling the TLS1.2 - For this, we have download the "NET40-Enable-TLS-12.reg" to server and use this.reg file on the server to update the registry
Using above steps "UPS shipping configure" issue has been resolved.
Is this background work causing the issue of Zip Code pulling? Please let us know your comments. Thank You.

I was thinking that this sounds like a TLS issue, and since you're running BVC 2015 that seems more likely. The workaround is unsupported, and the official recommendation has always been to upgrade to 2017 or above to ensure TLS 1.2 compatibility. |
