any guidance (required column labels, etc) for how to import sales tax table?

If you do an export you'll see the format (tab-delimited) and the columns. Of the columns you get in the export only Bvin, CountryBvin, and Rate are required; the rest are optional. If the Bvin field is blank the import will treat that as a new record; if there is a Bvin value it will do an update on that record. The current limitation of the sales tax import/export is is that it uses ID values for the RegionID and there is no list of these values except in the database (bvc_Region table). The RegionID corresponds to the ID value of a state, for example. |

An alternate to setting up a ton of tax rules is to use the integrated Avalara AvaTax service. |
