We just launched today with the Paypal website payments pro setup today. No charges are going through because we keep recieving the error:

<SPAN id=ctl00_MainContent_PrivateNotesField_ctl03_NoteField>Authorize Error: Paypal Express Payment Authorization Failed.10748:This transaction cannot be processed without a Credit Card Verification number

Client is not too happy. He has to call all of his customers to get credit card information.

We have set up the authorize Cvv at checkout, and Charge Full Amount at Checkout.

Thanks,
Joe

Which checkout is the client using? One Page Checkout, bv2004 checkout, or a custom checkout?

Justin,

It worked. I had to take out the references for the CheckForNonShippingOrder in checkout.aspx.vb and step2.aspx.vb and it ran through. Thanks again for all of the help!

Justin,

For some reason, using the payment system, all Visa cards will process, but not Mastercard. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Joe

Our software does not treat visa and mastercards differently in any way. We just pass them straight through to the payment processor. What response are you getting from Paypal?

Below is a graphic of what's happening. From what I can tell, Visa's go through, but Mastercard's and Discover cards arent working.
As a precaution, the client and myself have tried to process payments with our own credit cards and are finding the same result.

I've posted a screenshot here http://www.bluecreekweb.com/mcdiscerror.JPG

Sincerely,
Joe

You haven't by any chance changed the names of the credit cards in the bvc_CreditCardType table?

Actually, do me a favor and try going into the bvc_CreditCardType table and replacing the code for Mastercard with "MasterCard" instead of "M". Then try running a mastercard and see what happens.
