We are using Authorize.net as our processor. I have a few orders we need to give a refund to. I have waited 24 hours from the transaction as per Autherize.net. When I attempt to do a refund from BV I get this "<SPAN id=ctl00_MainContent_PrivateNotesField_ctl08_NoteField>Refund Warning: Transaction Declined - A valid referenced transaction ID is required. Transaction Reference Number: 0 Transaction Response Code: 3 Response AVS: P Response Code: 3 Response CVV2: M Response Text: A valid referenced transaction ID is required.
<input id=ctl00_MainContent_PrivateNotesField_ctl08_btnDeleteNote style="BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 0px" onclick="return window.confirm('Delete this note?');" type=image alt=DeleteNote src="http://www.ace4parts.com/BVAdmin/images/buttons/delete.png" name=ctl00$MainContent$PrivateNotesField$ctl08$btnDeleteNote>
"
I can go into Authorize.net's web site and do it manualy but want to do it in BV.
Any Ideas?
Thanks
Craig

I am not sure where that data on the right side of my post came from. The data I am talking about is the following
"<SPAN id=ctl00_MainContent_PrivateNotesField_ctl08_NoteField>Refund Warning: Transaction Declined - A valid referenced transaction ID is required. Transaction Reference Number: 0 Transaction Response Code: 3 Response AVS: P Response Code: 3 Response CVV2: M Response Text: A valid referenced transaction ID is required.

Craig,
Contact BV support -- I think there is an updated Payment.dll that you need to process refunds through your BV store -- I'm not sure if that was added to SP3 or not, but I had to get the updated file for them to get it to work. |

We get this too occasionally, keep us updated if you find a fix! |

I have a problem similar to this but with Linkpoint. It gives me a different error message but the result is the same. |
