Ok..
Cross Sell is "additional products"
Up Sell is "better products"
Where are Suggested items coming from? Are these being generated on the fly? |

You add them: Admin --> Catalog --> Products --> UpSells/CrossSells.

I think TimT is noticing something we noticed when we migrated from BV2004 to BV5. There is a control on the Product page called Suggested Items that just randomly puts in products that we have no control over. Even if we clear out UpSells/CrossSells suggested Items still get displayed.
We ended up turning off that control on the product page. |

Yes JonM... that is what I am noticing. There is a setting in admin under display that SHOW NUMBER OF SUGGESTED ITEMS. I changed this value to 0 and the control doesn't function. This works for now, but I just wanted to know more about the control. |

I think that is CROSS-SELLS -- it shows up as Suggested Items -- where Upsells are optionally added when a customer adds an item to their cart. |

which version of BVC 5 is the suggersted items under the Display in the admin? Im running 3.1 and I dont see when I can set it to 0
