I am just about to do a test upgrade from 5.6 to 5.7.1. I have done a lot of customization to a quite number of files in my existing site.
Am I ok to JUST upload the "newly added" and "changed files" and leave all others as they were?

There is a list of changed files here. http://forums.bvcommerce.com/de...lt.aspx?f=27&m=66016If you made copies of any and stuck them in other places you would have to consider those as well. Always, best to do it on a test (staging) server first with a copy of the database just to make sure all goes well. Live site is pretty scary for such aggressive action. My opinion of course. |

Yes, I will be doing this on a staging server (and have the list of changed files) but just wanted to make sure I am ok to only replace the changed files as well as upload the new ones.
