Version: 5.7.3
If a customer has a gift certificate worth $20, but their cart only contains $15, they are still forced to enter in a credit card. Am I going to have to create a new payment type of 'Gift Certificate balance exceeds total cost' or similar to get this working properly? Not an ideal situation, but better than having to force them to enter a credit card for a $0.00 transaction (I wouldn't do it myself if I were a customer).
Any other ideas out there?

I wonder if this is a new bug. I don't remember this being a problem in 5.6. |

Hey Aaron -
I think I may have found the issue; the credit card option is checked by default (probably something I did a while back). I'll try disabling that and see how it goes.
