I have a Summer Clearance Sale going on, with specific clearance items automatically marking off 20% when added to the cart, no coupon necessary.


In addition, I'm having a sale which requires a Promotional Code, and I've marked that it not be combined with other promotional codes. It takes 15% off the order total.



Now, if a customer adds a Summer Clearance item to the cart, as well as normal items, it does not take the 15% promotional code off the valid items. I do see the 20% off automatically being applied to the specified clearance items.



I'd like this to work by allowing the customer to add anything to the cart, taking the 20% off the Clearance items, and then 15% off any regular items.



Is it working as originally intended though? The Promotional code coupon is not valid and won't work if there's any other promotions on the items in the cart?

Change the order of the sales and they will be applied correctly.
It's a big funny but the sales are applied in the order they are defined so "can't be combined" means: "can't be applied after another one.". Odd :)
