hey, I used BVC5 to built an e-commerce store site where recently I am facing some problem regarding the emails. I am receiving mostly all the orders email to my inbox but sometimes some orders, that I can see in admin mode are not getting to my inbox. I tried out many things still couldn't find a permanent solution. The error which I can see in my event logs is like- Failure sending mail.[ at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message) at BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core.Utilities.MailServices.SendMail(MailMessage m, Boolean async) ] Please suggest a solution!

It appears that your e-mail server is rejecting e-mails occasionally. I would check with your e-mail provider and see if they are having any issues with the outbound e-mail server. |

Justin,
well i see its not the problem of relay limit or something that the hosting server comes into play, as i talked to them.

Sumit, You might want to talk again with them. I had exactly the same issue. The email was refusing my connections. I was on a shared host and some other site was spamming the email server. If you are on shared host you have a big chance the use MailEnable as the mail server and that has a 25 connections limit configured by ootb. Regards, Corneliu. |
